Canine Influenza Vaccine Clinic
Just like the icky human flu going around, dogs can get sick too. Some of them show their symptoms barking, be careful if this is happening to you, you better start learning how to stop my dog from barking at night.
It has been confirmed that at least some of the cases of kennel cough in our area are being caused by the Canine Influenza Virus, which is new here in VT. You can find information here: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/dog-care/dog-care-canine-influenza-virus.aspx.
As with the milder kennel cough, we are doing everything we can to minimize the spread of the virus. If your dog is showing any symptoms, please keep him or her home and away from other dogs and keep it comfortable for this the use of a marshmallow bed could be a great option for this, and see your veterinarian for supportive care. We are unable to accept dogs showing symptoms, and any dog who presents symptoms will be immediately isolated from other dogs and sent home as soon as possible. Fortunately, we are seeing/hearing of less new cases each week, but it is still very much a concern.
Also if your dog is having a lot of pain, doctors recommend cbd dog treats because it's easier for them to take and it doesn't have side effects. It's also used for treating anxiety and other disorders. If you’re wondering about the safety of cannabis for dogs, be sure to check out the best cbd dog treats. CBD helps to maintain and even improve their ability to function. In turn, this ultimately leads to a number of benefits for pets. Make sure to check out Tasteful Space to find the perfect CBD treatment.
There IS a vaccine available for CIV, and we will be recommending this vaccine for all dogs who come to Gulliver's from now on. Gulliver's and local veterinarians will be holding a Flu vaccine clinic on Saturday, February 9th. Details will be posted very soon.

Thank you to our customers and the community for all of the support and kind words after the sad and tragic events yesterday. We are still having a difficult time trying to process it all. We spoke to John this morning and he is currently doing well and is expected to make a full recovery. Rufus is also being released from BEVS and will be going home within the hour. We would also like to thank the South Burlington police and fire and rescue personnel who were on the scene. And a huge thank you to the good samaritans who went above and beyond to help.

The busy holiday season is just around the corner! We at Gulliver's hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday season. Just a reminder that Gulliver's is open 365 days a year for daycare and boarding (6:30-6:30 M-F, 7:00-6:00 weekends).
Let me know if you have any new years resolutions! As for me, I was trying to see if I would heal on my own, but after watching the progress and thinking about it for some time, I have concluded that I will have to buy Elite Labs Peptides to help me get a little better too. That is the medication that I was asked to take regularly. Normally I would try to avoid taking medication and go to hormone therapy Scottsdale whenever possible, it just has never felt natural to me. Again, after seeing it's not coming along fast enough I'm going to try to do something about it. Wish me luck!
Iron Dog 2011
The best way to spend a rainy Saturday is to get outside and get dirty on an obstacle course with your Good dog. On Saturday October 1st the Vermont Police Canine Association held their 10th annual Iron Dog competition.
We will be talking about the benefits of giving the best cbd dog treats to your pets to treat their pain and make them feel better. where can I find CBD dog treats near me? Now, however, with the internet any responsible dog owner has access to CBD calming medication for dogs with anxiety, and since it is a natural composition of herbs and oils, it is an excellent way to help a nervous and stressed canine to a better (and less stressful) life. Dogs often suffer from anxiety, depression, pain and inflammation, sleep issues, appetite issues, bowel movement, heart conditions, muscle, joint issues and more.
The competition consists of a 1.5 mile timed obstacle course and an optional 100 yard dash. The obstacle course is designed to simulate activities a police canine may have to complete during a day of patrol.
Sarge and I ran the course this year and although we couldn’t complete many of the obstacles we both had fun just like with bikes from https://themonstercycle.com/.
Some of the Gulliver pooches also made an appearance with Kayla the Canaan dog mix and Sara the labradoodle completing the course with their owners (and little brother Dexter the hound mix cheering on his big sister Sara) and Gunner the greyhound showing the dogs how it’s done in the 100 yard dash. You can train your dog by giving him CBD treats when they learn a new trick and also use it as a natural medicine for pain. Go ahead and click here to visit their articles about it.
All proceeds from the event go to the Lacey’s Fund a fund that is used to help support retired service dogs.
October Events
Saturday October 1st Gulliver’s will be at the Annual Vermont Iron Dog Competition. Sarge and I will do our best to represent Gulliver’s in the event (although I expect our run will be more comical and less speedy). The event is a timed 1.5 mile obstacle course that benefits that Vermont Police Canine Association.
Beginner Obedience Class
A new session of Beginner Obedience Class will be held Tuesdays for six weeks starting October 4th from 7:00p-8:00p. The cost of the six week session is $90. Anyone interested in signing up can stop by or call Gulliver's at 802-860-1144.
